Last week, together with three of our British Superyacht Ambassadors,  Jonathan Turner of Maritime Aviation, Kerrie Gray of Poole Harbour Commissioners and Gill Rodrigues of the International Seakeepers Society, I had the pleasure of visiting Premier Shipyard at Trafalgar Wharf, situated at the northern end of Portsmouth Harbour. The purpose of my visit was to review their evolving refit capabilities and discuss the future of the yard

Last night at the Harbour Hotel & Spa in Southampton, the atmosphere was a testament to the vibrancy of our sector. It was an absolute pleasure to see the British Superyacht community gather once again for our February Soirée.

Released today by British Superyacht member Marine Resources, the Marine Industry Salary Survey 2026 highlights an engaged workforce that remains proud of its industry but clear about where it must evolve. Salary has now emerged as the primary driver when professionals consider a new role - a notable shift from previous surveys, where it did not rank as the leading factor.
