On Tuesday 13 October 2026, the superyacht community gathered at the five-star Harbour Hotel and Spa Southampton for the annual British Superyacht Forum 2026. Set against the stunning backdrop of Ocean Village, the event brought together over 140 leading professionals, innovators, and key stakeholders from across the global superyacht sector.

Reflecting our core ethos—‘Stronger Together in Leading the Industry’—the forum underscored the sheer depth of British Superyacht expertise while providing a vibrant platform for collaborative dialogue on the future of our sector.

Unrivalled Dialogue and Tangible Energy

From the opening panel session through to the closing remarks, the atmosphere across the conference room was charged with purpose and energy. The forum tackled pivotal topics facing our industry.

What truly set this year’s forum apart was the extraordinary engagement between the floor and the panellists. The positive feedback received from delegates and panellists alike resonated with one unanimous conclusion: the day was an unequivocal triumph.

"Great Britain is a powerhouse within the global superyacht industry"

Attendees highlighted the magnificent five-star venue, praising the Harbour Hotel and Spa for providing an elevated, welcoming environment. Crucially, delegates celebrated the genuine intimacy of the forum and the refreshing culture of free speech and candid debate. Unfettered by excessive formality, conversations addressed real challenges head-on. In fact, several seasoned attendees remarked that it was simply the best industry conference they had attended in many years—a testament to the openness, camaraderie, and calibre of everyone in the room.

"Key decision makers should explore new products and service providers"

British Superyacht CEO, Richard Selby commented "This years forum exceeded the expectations of many. It was humbling to hear senior industry colleagues say that it was the 'best industry conference that they had attended for many years'. I have to mention that the success of the format, and the recruitment of such outstanding panellists is owed to British Superyacht Ambassador, Jo Assael. Like any event of this kind, the attendance and support of the delegates and sponsors is the key, and on behalf of British Superyacht I extend our sincere thanks and encourage you to attend next year."

Continuing into the Evening: The British Superyacht Soirée

As the formal panel sessions concluded, conversations flowed seamlessly into the evening at the British Superyacht Forum Soirée. Hosted in style, the soirée offered delegates and speakers an relaxed setting to unwind, deepen discussions, and forge lasting commercial relationships. It proved the perfect conclusion to a day dedicated to collective progress, demonstrating once again the power of convening our sector face-to-face.
