Gill has been with The International SeaKeepers Society since 2013, first based in Miami and now London. With over 20 years' non-profit experience across ocean conservation, environmental research and education, her skills include academic research initiatives, relationship building and stewardship.
Working closely with the private international yachting community, Gill is Director of International Relations for SeaKeepers and heads up the UK/European office in London. Her focus is on growing SeaKeepers existing relationships, creating new partnerships and expanding SeaKeepers international reach.
Previously Gill worked with Florida International University within the College of Arts Science and education. A college that prides itself on developing solutions to some of the greatest environmental challenges of our time. She was also with ANGARI Foundation as it launched 7 years ago, a family foundation focussed on marine and environmental sciences that supports marine research through its research vessel R/V ANGARI.
Gill was a member of Britweek in Florida, a non-profit association that celebrates innovation and creativity between the UK and the US, building awareness of the ways in which Britain and the US work closely together, to advance business, the arts and philanthropy. Over a 5-year period Gill was involved in hosting numerous events highlighting the international marine industry and showcasing British excellence.
