The first business networking reception created by British Superyacht on the opening day of the Dubai International Boat Show 2025 (DIBS25) was a huge success. Around thirty members and invited guests gathered to enjoy a balmy evening at the event which was kindly hosted by Sunseeker Gulf.
British Superyacht Ambassadors met with the UK government Country Director for Business and Trade, Martin Whalley to talk about the importance of the British superyacht sector globally and particularly the high value products and services contributed by the supply chain behind it. Martin had travelled from the British Embassy in the UAE to meet with British Superyacht Ambassadors Ruth Douglas, Jo Assael and Gill Rodrigues to discuss the excellence behind our industry both in the British Isles and around the world.
